We've totally rebuilt our Nassau shop right down the road from our existing location. The new shop opened on Wednesday, December 30th, and was celebrated with a grand opening event on Saturday, January 9th. This latest new shop will feature your favorite Stewart’s products as well as freshly made pizza (pie and by the slice), made-to-order subs, and a walk-in beer cave. There is a larger counter area with a wide selection of easy foods, more seating, and LED lighting. Fuel service has also been expanded to include diesel and ethanol-free premium gasoline. This shop will replace the shop location at 19 Albany Ave. To commemorate this Grand Opening, Stewart’s donated $1,000 to the Nassau Free Library to be used for new tablets in their youth room. An additional $1,000 in milk certificates was donated to the Anchor Food Pantry. This new shop caps off a significant two years of investment in Rensselaer County, where the company has now rebuilt six existing shops and also built a brand new shop in North Greenbush. In 2015 alone, Stewart’s Shops has invested 30 million dollars to make the customer’s shopping experience even easier. These projects allow for improved traffic flow and the ability to provide more easy food items like prepared foods, entrees, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. A significant number of new shops and rebuilds are anticipated for 2016, with an even greater investment.
