Partners say he was "a little rough on the register.” But, Stewart's Shops President Gary Dake got behind the shop counter for a great cause Tuesday. Gary continued a Holiday Match tradition of celebrating the shop with the highest percentage growth in donations collected during the first half of the Stewart’s Holiday Match campaign.
As of Sunday, December 13th, the 112th Street shop in Lansingburgh had collected $2,791 – a growth of 185% compared to the same time last season.
And as of December 21st, the total Holiday Match campaign is over $1.4 million, and could set a record thanks to the donations of Stewart’s generous customers. The program continues through Christmas Day.
This is the first of three incentives offered to shops during the Holiday Match program. Gary Dake will also work a shift in the location with the highest growth at the end of the campaign, as well as the shop with the most donations collected from customers.
